New Delhi, September 5: Prince Yadav, a key bowler for Purani Dilli 6, who played a pivotal role in his team's recent victory, is eagerly looking forward to leading the bowling attack in the upcoming semi-finals of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Purani Dilli 6 secured their spot in the semi-finals on Monday with a 33-run win over Central Delhi Kings. Prince Yadav stood out, taking three crucial wickets, including that of Central Delhi Kings captain Jonty Sidhu.
Awarded as the most economical bowler of the match, Prince shared his confidence on the field, having faced such situations many times before. "It wasn't difficult as I have always practiced bowling in dewy conditions. I've bowled tough overs for my team regularly. My focus was to give my 100 percent because we had to win to ensure our qualification without relying on other teams," he said in a DPL statement.
Purani Dilli 6 made a strong comeback in the tournament with consecutive victories, marking the first time the team achieved back-to-back wins, propelling them into the semi-finals.
"We've received great support from our owner, staff, and coaches, who kept the atmosphere relaxed, helping us grow as players. I'm excited for the semi-finals and even more eager to win," Prince added.
Purani Dilli 6 will compete in the DPL semi-finals starting Friday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
